mixing brands.

So Im going to be selling the car but planned on repacing a few parts to make sure shes in tip top shape. Id like to know first off if you can intermingle parts like say (metaphorically) an ets intercooler with hks uicp/ hks bov ect. ect, can it be done or is it a no - no. I've found a few different parts that are used but good cond. But should I buy new, what would be some decent and not top of the line fmic/uicp/licp to go with that aren't super expensive.

Depends on the parts. You need to take a look at the pictures. Buschur IC and LICP has a different routing. AMS exhausts use a different flange. Their IC has a different approach into the IC but will only need a different coupler. Fitment issues with cheaper parts.

The UICP is usually all the same unless you have a different intake manifold from stock. Looks like the XS is a straight exit from the bottom so you will need a straight coupler for any piping that you connect to it (as opposed to a 45 degree like stock).

FYI a stock evo will fetch more than a modified one, I wouldn't spend money to upgrade the car hoping to sell it for more

If you mix in any of our parts they will work as an OEM replacement. So as long as the other companies products can fit to the OEM intercooler, piping, etc. It will work with our products.

Thanks,

Michael

Agree with the others. Stock parts are cheapest and best for selling the car.
