Shiv,

Now, that's some serious hp #, C16 gas?

Can you provide your insights in the Vishnu stage 2 as to the cost, hp on 91, and availability issues?

Why is it making over 100 hp than the previous version, new hardware, better tuning, etc

Is this latest edition different from the one that you ran on the dragstrip awhile back up in sac ?

The answer if simple: for horsepower (which you stated was your goal) Buschur is the only route. His stuff is some of the most purpose built on the market. Dave is interested in helping your car go fast, not helping you win any car shows. Every dollar you spend on a product that's marked up in price due to polishing and chrome is a doller you could be using to buy a product that makes you go faster.

Actually, not to bash Bushur (since I actually use his products on my Evo), but where is his turbo kit? I *really* want to see this. We know he is famous for making fast cars, but as far as I know, he has not even hinted to what his turbo kit will be like, how much it will cost, what it will include and what kind of power to expect.

Actually, I have not even read anything about Buschur making a turbo kit, I just automatically assumed he would put a new turbo on the Evo since he would obviously not be satisfied with the stock turbo.

He has stated that he had a cast manifold made for the evo that will accept pretty much any turbo. I believe he last stated that they were going to be taking a good amount of time for R&D with multiple turbos so that they could offer different performance level turbo upgrade packages for different intents and budgets instead of pigeon holing their customers by offering only one turbo.

The Pictures and Base info on Buschur's kit...
http://www.buschurracing.com/EVODEV1.html

MP5: They don't sell a BR475... It's 500 and 580...
Comes with the smaller Turbo standard for less lag.
Unless you want to run 9's...

I am not going to spill the beans. However - I must say the results on the Buschur Flash will open a few eyes!

I am not going to say anything about what happened - you will be seeing the results soon.

lolrof, I sure wish you could see my Vishnu "Standard" 1,000$ turbo-back. It KILLS the Buschur in quality. I am not saying the Buschur stuff is bad but I bet the Buschur costs less them $300 to make, and the Vishnu is at LEAST 2x's and it shows. I can get a Buschur exhaust made for $300 here in atlanta if I wanted. Yes the Buschur is light but light = thin = rust out and not last to long. People are so funny and the best thing is the Buschur out the door with a cat is $1,000 and the Vishnu I think is $50 more. WOW what a big difference.

Buschur parts are like the Craftsman wrench set you have, good, solid, been around for years making tools, bordering minimalist in design. Vishnu parts are like that wrench set your rich friend showed you in the latest Sharper Image catalog, chrome coated, shiny, a bit over done for it's intended use and made by a company famous for nail files and clippers.

You pick, your money, though one route will get you farther.

Ryan, thin wall does not equal rust out. First off 304 stainless steel does NOT rust. SO light actually equals light. IF you can get our exaust made in Atlanta for $300 then I would like to order 100 of them right now. I will be waiting on the first sample to check the quality. I will buy them as fast as you can ship the other 99 after my approval. We have the same lightweight systems on DSM's, been building them for over 10 years, I don't think you will find one of Vishnu's that has been on a car for over 10 years since he hasn't even been building them that long. Thanks for the input though.

The turbo kits will be offered with YOUR choice of turbos. The BR475 is what we want to offer to most guys. It will keep the car a blast to drive on the street.

I am meeting with the tooling company that made the mold for the manifolds Sunday afternoon. He has a few changes to make to the first two he sent us. After this we will be rolling with the kit.

As for the original poster and his question. Good luck with your choice to, I hope who ever you use you are happy with the money you spent.

Check out the new flashes we have for our products now, you;ll be impressed with this option.

Do you recommend keeping the S-AFC installed in addition to the flash for "Fine Tuning"?

I have a question for Dave that has made me consider only Vishnu and/or Works so far - Are there 91 oct maps that consider sea level and up to 9,000' altitiude? and from 10 deg f. (Mammoth) to 115 deg f (Las Vegas, summer)?

I'm a conservate modder because it's my daily driver. So far I've chosen to go with an RMR TB because of 50 state CARB legality and quietness. It's a real ***** here in So-Cal with the Po-Leece and so many F&F poser types.
