Who all makes quality double pumpers besides buscher? Or something similar that doesn't require too much modification? What other options are out there?

 

you have a couple different options

1) Full blown makes a nice dual intake setup but there is known problems when running under 1/4 tank of gas....

You could also go with a 400lp single pump like the detchwerk(sp) or walbro has one aswell. If you want it to flow better than a 255 you need to rewire it and at that point you need a fpr.

 

Just curious...but you don't like the buschur option?? its pretty simple and very well put together.

 

What kind of power are you looking to make, and on what fuel?

 

I just did a Warlbro 400lph In tank. Fairly straight forward install.

 

....This isn't true. Out of the box it will outflow a modded 255lph. Oh, and you don't need a FPR either.

 

BR Double pumper doesn't get much simpler. Drop it in and its the last FP upgrade you will need for a long time. Unless you plan to make 800+ HP.

It's just hard to justify for some, as for around $150 you can get that Warlbro 400. Many people never enter the territory in which the DP is needed. I plan to push this 400lph to 650whp when I do my testing come summer. I also spent $30 and made an 8an stainless firewall to fuel rail line.

Did you clamp yours down like MAP did? The clamp is considered a potential problem that could cause the pump to stop working. If I ever need a bigger fp, I'd like to go this route if I know it's securely in there and won't fail from the clamp.

I forget where I was reading it, but the clamp became an issue if you cranked it down, rather than just making it "snug". When you clamp it extremely tight, I guess it affected the flow dynamics inside of the pump. However, take that with a grain of salt, as I can't find the thread where I read that.

 

If you are concerned about the hose clamp squeezing the fuel pump you can modify the hanger to allow you to keep the stock retaining clip.

 

I don't like how I was treated when I was asking him questions about head studs and buying a turbo upgrade from him for my Evo. I am a TPM for Microsoft and customer services is #1. That is how I like to be treated that is how I like to treat people. I have since decided to take my business else ware.

I want to two tunes. One on E85 and one on 92. I want 600 or more on E85 and 550-600 on pump if that is possible with my setup? I need a ported or bigger throttle body/intake. But that wont be till after my car is completely put together. I'm waiting on some parts from Greg at GSC .

How much will this support on E85 and on pump?
