Erratic RPM at idle

Hi. I have a 04 evo 8 and lately when I'm stopped the cars RPMs will jump from 1200-1500 and then back down again. It seems to only happen once the cars warmed up and it does it almost every time I'm stopped. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds similar to an IAC related issue.
Possibly a bad leak somewhere as well.

Idle Air Control Valve, historically mitsubishi has had a difficult problem with them. DSM's always have issues with idle surging. Sometimes they need to be replaced, sometimes just cleaned.

Are you throwing a CEL?
