alignment help
hey guys so i have a problem. i went to align my car yesterday and my caster is off. both sides are at -3.3 what can i do to fix this? the body shop that fixed my car from an accident i was in said its not from that and that it was fine after the accident but now its off and i was just wondering if there was some way to fix this? any help is great thanks guys
you sure it's not +3.3?
take it to a different shop and have them assess it. if it were "fixed correctly" there's no way it should be -3.3 unless they're looking at it backwards

should be a way for them to adjust it (alignment tech) if its close to even for both sides and close to factory it wont hurt, that being out will not damage your tires either. id say have another shop check it out like demon said and if its messed up take it back.

There's no factory way to adjust caster per the Hunter alignment mechine we have. Does anyone know if the lower k- member (what the steering rack is attached to) can be moved forward a bit? Are the bolt holes larger then the bolts? If so, you can move that forward to increase your caster. Will need to align again though because it will change your toe.
Ill have tp look. It might be my subframe bolt? One of the bolts on my passenger side is stripped and they go inside the frame so i gotta drill a section out of the frame and weld it hopefully thats y and i can move the subframe up some.. my only real concern with this is i want to lower my car i wasnt sure if it would hit sometjing or whatever but if u guys donr think. 6 is alot n none of my techs here think its alot it should be good
At least your caster is off equally, my cross sai is off, I think my subframe is tweaked on the passenger side from sustaining an impact. I wonder if unbolting my engine cradle and shifting it would help
