my 4/5th grinded only at high rpms only at WOT and i had it this way for over a year until i decided to do a tranny flush with redline mt-90 and it totally went away!! would totally recommend redline mt 85/90! Also look into adjusting your clutch rod so that it can engage/desengage quicker

^^ yes this is the one i've used.

I'm not sure if this will work for you or not i think this depend upon the condition of synchro as well if they are in bad shape or gone completely then shockproof will not be able to remove this grinding.
In my case it worked; i never ever used redline gear oils before in any car. Very much satisfied with the outcome
Thanks for the update man, appreciated.

DSMolition, that'd be awesome.

@DSMolition
I look forward to your feedback.

I used 10-60w castrol in engine, previously i used mobile1, ravenol and OEM mitsu. To me more or less all were the same.

Well i changed gear fluids and took it on a test drive. I have to say the noise got a lot better and is almost completely gone. I would recommend doing this if you are thinking about it. Like i said it’s still faintly there but a lot better.

Nice. Thanks for the update. Sounds like a nice fall project once the triple-digit temps die down. God I'm glad the AC works on my IX!
