If VR1 is taken off of the shelf, I'll go to Brad Penn. No need for paying high prices for oil, if you do you're a victim of marketing.

I used the VR1 synthetic. Last oil change I couldn't find any so I went with the valvoline synthetic.

I guess I'd either use Mobil 1 HM or Valvoline.

German Castrol, Rotella T6. I have redline in right now because that's all the local shop carried when I had my fluids changed. I'm going to go to GC or T6 next.

Local guy runs T6 in his lamborghini murcielago.

Like I've stated.

I've had T6 in multiple cars. From daily drivers to modded cars.

Anyone who pays 13$ for a quart of oil is brain dead. Not to mention it gets changed so often in these cars.

Yes it is synthetic. If that were to stop being made I would probably go with Brad Penn

If you change your oil every 3-4k almost any brand will do. I used Castrol 10w-40 non synthetic with (gasp!) Fram oil filters on my 02 WRX for 170,000 trouble free miles. Still going strong.
Use Mobil 1 in the EVO and would use amsoil if had to change.

And 1... It appears to be an awesome bang for the buck and I believe it has some of those diesel oil properties that another member was saying a lot of EVO owners are high on.

Nice. I am currently using Brad Penn. It's like AMSOIL price around here so but it's also high in the zinc that is reccomended for high boost turbos so I figured I'd try it.
