In the past year I've gone from M1 0W-40, to German Castrol, and am now on M1 diesel oil. When it comes to oil, just give me something in the 30/40 grade flavor...preferably an oil that is not overly marketed on this forum

Awesome stuff and it's even cheaper at walmart (only some carry it) and it's like $23 a gallon there
. I run it in my evo in the winter and amsoil 20w50 in the summer or the synthetic VR1 2050 if Im in a bind and cant get amsoil in time. and Purolator/oem or amsoil filters. Preferrably amsoil
No just dont use it in a stock engine, but when you have a built motor with larger bearing clearances thicker stuff should be used, look at what all the vendors are using in there race cars. Most of it I've seen is 20w50 in all temps too, I use Rotella T6 5w40 in the winter tho and the 20w50 in the summer
