Disc brake jammed... HELP!

I left my car out of action for an entire 3 months in my driveway and now it doesnt want to move at all, brakes are jammed tight.

I didnt try anything extreme like dumping the clutch at high revolution as I feel it might break something...?

How about I spray some Gigaloo and wait a couple minutes? (I will have to clean up the gigaloo or any grease afterward however)

Teach me !!!

More throttle. Let the clutch out farther. This happens to all evos. Once it breaks free you'll be fine.

Try more throttle/letting the clutch out faster. Not like a full-on launch, but it's gonna take more power than usual. If that doesn't work, then get a rubber mallet (must be rubber! The white rubber is good) and pull the wheels off. Smack the calipers a few times. If that doesn't wiggle the pads loose, then pull the caliper off. Don't pull/tug the brake line though. Smack the pads w/ the mallet to get them loose, and put it all back together.

And what is this gigaloo you speak of?

Personally wouldn't do that.... a better solution would be to take a large flat head screw driver and put it through the top window of the caliper and break the pads free from the disk (pry on them away from the disk). Its stuck because the metalic pad bits have rusted to your disk.

I have to say that doesn't sound like a good idea to me all. Too much risk of warping or gouging the caliper or the disc.

break it free fast. Low rpm clutch dump. If you try it high rpm/slow clutch, you'll burn it up.

Definitely do not spray anything on the pads or rotors. The pads might absorb it and affect it's braking ability.

I understand your concern, but there is no way you are going to warp a disk, just not going to be possible physically unless you got super human strength....

ps... don't gouge the **** out of the disk....
-OR- you can just use the screw driver to bang on the back plate forcing the pad away from the disk without ever touching the disk...
