Aem wideband walk-thru

Can some one walk me through on how to get the wires threw the bottom of my car to connect the wires up by my steering wheel? I will be starting this project tommorow, I was just wanting some advice if anyone can help me out. Also my boost gauge will need to be moved it currently does not have any light at night, how can I hook it up to light?

Most people use the spot where your rear o2 wiring runs up through the floorboard just under the passenger seat. Then from there just run it under the carpet into the center console and on up to your gauge wherever you have it mounted. If you want to retain the rear o2 then either make a new hole in the floorboard for it (seal it appropriately) or run it under the car to the firewall on the passenger side and drill your hole there to get it in the cabin. Wiring is very easy there are plenty of how-to's on here. Just a power wire and ground to get it working. If you want to be able to log afrs then splice the white wire into pin #75 of your ecu.

For the boost gauge light you'll need to wire it to another power wire for anything that lights up when you turn on your lights i.e. cigarette lighter, dash lights, etc

You will need a test light to make life a lot easier when doing this.

Turbo timer should have come with a harness to make it all plug and play. Only extra wire would be for your e-brake sensor but that's for security purposes if someone where to attempt to take the car while the turbo timer is counting down

do it this way, i did mine like this. weld bung at 12 o'clock position on downpipe. just like the pic.

dont go thru the rear o2, thats way to far. RIGHT at where the downpipe meets the cat, there is a grommet. it goes to the inside of the car.

comes in here

wth are u talking about? the aem is all wired up to the sensor. all u need is power and ground. ground wire to a metal surface, power wire to the cig lighter. easiest and best option.

you cant just match any black wire to another black wire or white wire to a white wire. every car's wire is color coded.

theres a ton of these aem wideband installs. go search for it in the how to section.

where to relocate your turbo timer is BASED on where YOU want it. dont copy someone elses on YOUR car. put it where you want.

For power source, tap at the fuse on the top left corner of the fuse box.

BTW, Evo 9 is not new

I believe one wire goes to the sensor in the dp. And the other wire is the power, ground and the data logging. they both plug into the gauge. Someone correct me if im wrong.
