Okay, My evo has 35k miles on it 06mr no check engine light, runs perfect, but when my car is running up by my injectors theres a clicking noise like fast, click click lick etc. Is it just my injectors or what could be the reason its making this noise? i previously had a white one and someone rear ended me and totalled it "/ so i bought this one. my previous didnt make the noise but this one does :? help please

sounds like the injectors, its perfectly normal. If your hearing the ticking noise from underneath the valve cover then that wouldnt be so normal. Does it change at all, like goes away and comes back or are you saying its always clicking?

See thats what i was thinking, but while i was listening it sounded more like it was coming from my injectors near my manifold. and its a steady clicking, no breaks or pauses, continously*??

Occasionally, someone will come on here and post that they lost one cylinder. This is probably due to a plugged injector (read detonation). Anyway, it is costly to fix. So, I suggest you take it easy with the throttle and, with you next fillup, throw in a can of fuel injector cleaner.

If you can get the noise at idle, try and get some video of it. Post it here and maybe we can get a better idea.

i do NOT want it to be my cylinders.. definatley dont.. Wouldnt my CEL be on if it was something wrong thoo.. Ill get my idle on video and post it.. Its windy where i ive so kinda poor quality but it kinda sounds like a taser clicking sound lol its suppose to be nicer tomorrow ill post it then

I had this with my evo 9 what is was under the valve cover theres a nossle that puts oil on the cams its a little to long from the factory so the cams hit it just enough to make the noise but its not hurting anything i took mine and filled it down and theres no more noise
