you can have your tuner set you up with a dual map setup and you can either use a switch, gas pedal or intercooler switch to switch between maps with out having to hook up your laptop.

has anyone had issues with the gunk collected in the injectors?

Cobb AP for the Evo 8/9 is useless anyways. No one was buying so that made smart business sense.

There are a ton of ways to get the switching done. Haven't experienced the gunk build up yet. But i have been using a combo of Lucas E85 injector cleaner and pump gas once in a few tanks.

Same situation for me. I would love to covert but if I want to take a trip and E-85 isn't available I'm screwed

That is why you keep your pump gas tune and just switch when needed
Plan trips in advance so you can switch fuels, I used to take 10 gallons extra with me and I've made 400+ mile trips no problem.

well thanks for your inputs! i can understand that e85 will make more power and you can add more timing. They biggest debate for me would be is the availability and have to get bigger inejctors be worth it. Long story short im not trying to go past 500 on stock block either way.
