Is E85 worth it.
With current mods and tune i made 460hp/330tq on 93 pump gas.
Mods include
62/66 precision ball bearing turbo
custom manifold
4in exhaust
ams fuel rail
ams fuel line
aeromotive 330 lph fuel pump
fuel lab fuel regulator
bosch 1000cc injectors
ets fmic
aem series 1
tial bov
tial wastegate w/ open dump
torque solution motor mounts
kelford 272 cams
revolver valve springs
hks timing belt
Talking to my tuner he mentioned that if i were to go e85 i would need bigger injectors to make the same amount of power. What would be the benefits of getting said injectors and switching to e85

Going E85 is definitely great for power, I think they key thing you'll need to consider is availability. The ONLY reason why I haven't done it yet is because it's a pretty inconvenient trek to get E85...although it is available, I just can't justify it...yet.

Running 120+ octane race gas at pump gas prices, who would want to do that. On my stock turbo I picked up about 100hp over CA91. CA91 == 360whp, E85 == 460whp. My car gets about 20mpg on the highway, and 16mpg in city mode, mixed is about 18mpg. My brother on his STI gets about 16mpg, but he drives like an *******.
So to sum it all up, if you have it available and dont mind storning 55 gallons of it in the garage, then it is 100% worth it. If it is going to cause you to much headache then go meth injection.
My car on Meth Injection made 400/400 the stock turbo and stock cams, CA91 + 50/50 WM.
Just my .02.

Depends on how you store the fuel. I use about 55gallons every 1.5 months. I do not see any issues with the fuel during that length of time. If you are going to use 55 gallons over the course of a year, I would say buy it in 10 gallon increments.

E85 is Ethanol 100%/200 proof, blended with Gas. If the Ethanol has to much water in it the gas will not mix correctly. There for after the Ethanol is distilled it is around 95% pure, to pull the remaining 5% water from the ethanol it is dried using a molecular sieve. You then have your 100% Pure Ethanol.
That ethanol is then blended with Gas to create E85. Now different zones in the US have different blend ratios for different seasons. So in CA we have the same blend all the time about e85-e90. Back east you can see e65-e90. in the winter months where it is really cold, it is easier for Gas to start then Ethanol, which is why the blend changes.
