alrite, so i got my megan dp today for my evo 8,(the one with the flex pipe) now i only got one gasket, and was kinda confused, that it only matched up to the end of the dp that will connect to the exhaust, the other flange that will b connecting to the o2 housing is a 3.5 inch wide flange(inner opening) no i havent done ne exhaust work to my evo, but is this rite, shouldnt it b a 3 inch flange just like the other side? sumone who has this dp or knws the size of the stock o2 housing outlet let me knw wtf is goin on?

 

neone? a reply or sumthing would b great, i wanna get this dp on this weekend, but if its not gonna fit, thats not gonna happen

 

You are going to have to reuse the donut gasket that sits inbetween the o2 housing and downpipe. Not a big deal.

 

^ I just installed mine last week, reuse the stock o2 gasket.

 

Mine came with a donut gasket... The stock gasket was stuck on there and didnt even seem like it wasnt coming off so i tried to install with out the new gasket and it wasnt close to sealing up the new downpipe. After about an hour of scraping and pull on the old gasket i finally got it off and installed the new gasket. And to to add insult to injury the holes werent lining up on the o2 side...
