found this evo today and i called the guy and he said that he will send me some more pics tomorrow of the interior the odometer and engine bay. also said that he has the auto check but will still ask for the vin so i can run a car fax myself. sounds a lil too good to be true tho haha. but he said its clean title and no accidents.

the guy also said that he's not willing to let the vehicle go to the shop for and hour or two, so pretty much no on the PPI. but still said that i can bring a mechanic to check it out.


what you guys think??

 

That price is about right man. Unfortunately carfax isn't an end all be all. You can get in a accident and never file it with your insurance. See the car in person, drive it, hear it, inspect it, check all the body lines, and just trust your judgement.

 

I would be really suspicious. Kbb under fair condition is $22,000 and he says he isn't in a rush to sell.

If he wasnt in a hurry, he wouldn't be selling for $4-5k under KBB.

 

That looks to good to be true! Go check the car out take pics and test drive it, 18 grand in that condition i doubt it.

good deal if true. Its def worth a look. I wouldnt expect it to have never been modded though. Its to easy to stock mods out and make it look legit but still low miles
