Evo9 Clutch
It's funny cause on Monday I went with a buddy to look at a completely bone stock evo that he was looking to buy and I got in the car and started it and pushed in the clutch and it felt like a dead pedal damn near pushed it through the floor lol. I am just so used to the act xtreme pressure plate in mine, it felt like it was broke.
This tutorial is fairly descriptive, gives u some good tips and tricks to some stuff that may hang someone up that hasn't pulled the tranny before.

If you change your clutch "many many" times, either you suck at driving, or you beat the hell out of your car. I'm on my stock clutch at 61k miles and I have road raced many times. It seems like it would be rare to find a friend that knows how to do it in NZ, but that's the best way to save the cash.
That sucks Steve, what's wrong with it? Slipping really bad?
It's not too hard to find friends in NZ who can help you out, but NZ still has an attitude that you'd be better off to pay someone to do the big jobs. Evo 9s are still quite expensive here too (30k+) so owners like that extra assurance that the job will be done right and warrantied. Not everyone though, I do all my own work (haven't done anything as big as a clutch job yet sorry Steve).
1600NZD is just under 1300 USD. I'm guessing includes parts and labor.

Ye shes slipping, when u drive it it sounds like you are riding the clutch, talked to a couple of local garages and they have not done a EVO before and because of that the parts are the same price but the labour would work out more due to the length it would take them, mitsi garage would have a good garantee though,Making me think now do i keep after fixing it or do i try to sell it,yours going go though Andy.
