I will be working on it tomorrow so I can check tomorrow but there is no misfire or anything below 3k so could it still be plugs?

yup! as soon as boost picked up it would feel like i was hitting the rev limiter. and it sometimes would do it at idle. it blew my gaps way out of tolerance.

I checked the gaps and they are fine only thing is could it be my maf?

hhhhhmmm you can try swapping MAFs if you know someone local.... if it was your maf though i think it would throwing a code....

im gapped to .22 was yours somwhere near that?

If the pipe is leaking it will still have trouble revving. I had it happen to me about a year ago and it was a boost leak just like you are describing.

How old are the plugs?

plugs have maybe 3k on em and it builds boost fine under 3k and when i let off i can hear it recirculate fine i think, ANYONE LOCAL TO THE MEDINA OHIO AREA? lol

Im thinking it may be a fuel issue man. Fuel cut out so after 4 rpm it makes that grinding all the way down to idle?
