Will insurance cover all of this random damage? Tons of pics

I put a post up in the how to section last week about fixing cracked headlights/tail lights and got practically no replies so apparently there is no fix for hair line cracks.

Now I'm wondering what insurance will cover if anything. Like I said, all my lights have hair line cracks but becides that birds have destroyed my car. Literally there isn't one pannel that isn't touched by damn birds. Some spots are just clear gone but other spots are worse, white marks that will NOT come off. Also the whole front end has never ending rock chips and there are scratches thruout the body from parking places where nobody cares about the car next to them. My front lip is scratched to hell and had to be screwed on because all of the tabs on bottom are broken. My insurance company is Geico, I really don't know if insurance will cover random things that have happened over the years but here are some pictures...if this stuff isn't covered by insurance, I'll wet sand the whole car and buff but I'm hoping since there's so much little stuff maybe I can score a paint job and new lights, I don't know.

There have been a lot of horror stories about Geico on here lately. Personally I wouldn't even bother trying to get the insurance company to pretty much repaint your whole car. Depending on what your insurance deductible is, I would take that $$ & find a good detail shop. I really good detail shop could get the paint looking like new again, obviously take a lot of work.

My deductible is $500 that's why I don't mind if they will cover everything. Considering tails are a few hundred, heads are over a grand and paint is a few thousand. I can detail but like I said, all of the rock chips aren't gonna go away and so many spots are down past the clear coat, even sanding and buffing won't fix some of it.

If I had it my way, I'd get 7 tails, jdm heads and a new bby paint job

They will not cover it. If they were going to each chip or bird shut damage would be a separate climb each with a a deductible. Since every incident would be under 500 to fix you are responsible for the damages yourself.

Yeah. I Don't think they would cover that. They are too little things.

HAHAHA dude you have GEICO and you want them to pay you for a claim. Good luck with that. Just be happy you didnt get into an accident and this is just cosmetic stuff that is bothering you. My advice is get a new insurance company. youll save money by paying more somewhere else.

I'm hoping someone that works for an insurance company can chime in and lay out facts from Geico saying yes or no. I'm not sure because yes majority of it wasn't caused at one time but I do pay insurance every year and never make claims, and this isn't your average car where a set of lights cost $100. My record is clean, the only claim I've ever made was back 5 years ago when my Ralliart got rear ended.

honestly coming from someone who details besides the rock chips a good detail ( wetsand/compound ,claybar, buff, polish) from a pro should be able to fix this.

This is a prime example why to take care of your cars paint and finish especially if its black not to sound harsh but it looks like you have neglected the cars finish over the years.

even if insurance would cover this would you want your rate to go up for this..?

Good Luck

I have no idea, i never really thought about claim thru insurance for normal age wear. That's one suck about black, you will see single rock chips etc etc.

Full coverage insurance should cover things like that. However once you make the claim your premiums would probably go through the roof.

are you serious? the car is almost 10 years old, dude. There will be scratches and little blemishes.

how do you think cracked plastic can be fixed? you replace the whole plastic if that 1/4" barely even noticeable crack affects you
