I recently bought the Greddy Evo II exhaust on clearance for 290.00 shipped. It is a nice quiet exhaust. It did feel like I lost some hp compared to the 3" borla I previously had. I had the inline greddy resonator removed and added a vibrant 3", 18 inch resonator. It improved the hp and did not get much louder. No drone at all.

Since we're on this topic, I'm in the same boat wanting to avoid drone. Can anyone with the ETS exhaust chime in? Anyone running it with a resonated test pipe?

I have Jun BL and it sounds awesome! I have test pipe, but you can use with cat and there is a fully SS resonator insert included that will quiet it down as well.

Good luck!

They DC'd it. That's why it took me so long to find one. They pop up used every once in awhile. I ended up getting one locally for $400.

^ Yeah, they're discontinued now. They are hard to find but pop up FS once in awhile. I got mine for free since it was a straight exhaust trade

Absolutely love the exhaust.

I run the Greddy Evo 2, with full 3" DP, test pipe and I actually cut out the resonator and taper. It's very quiet with no drone (it definitely opens up at WOT though). It tucks up nicely under the bumper so if you painted the tip black it would be very stealthy.

I have a Cobb exhaust with a test pipe that has a magnaflow muffler built in and it's like cruising around in a Lexus

+1 for cobb exhaust! I had one and enjoyed it very much. Stock appearance, minimal bends, and it sounded awesome during WOT.

Unfortunately, it has been traded, I've always been wanting a louder exhaust and ended up trading it for a Greddy TI and boy do I love it. haha

+1. I have the same setup and same opinion.
It does sound mean and full throttle but surprisingly mild at highway speeds.
A bit loud idling in the driveway though, go figure.
You could also replace the HFC with another Magnaflow. Email Buschur about that.
Will effect emissions of course.

Have had one of these, HFC and downpipe for over 6 years now. Very quiet....just that it seems they don't make that exhaust anymore. As someone above notes, it tucks up under the bumper so no huge canister hanging under the car.

You dont really sacrifice that much power in the grand scheme of things--10-15 ponies for a quiet car that is 100% legal from a emissions stand point and not a cop magnet and will not make you go deaf or keep your kids awake-- sounds like a deal.

BTW I have this set up and I run what I recommend-- if you go with a solid HFC like recommened you are fine, go with a 300 cell cat or so , you pick up a lot of on throttle noise, but still no droning. your car , your choice-- You likely dont care about emmisions either since your running the test pipe-- but someone will at some point--thats why everytime a converter comes up for sale it get snatched up asap.
