I haz the TurboXS exhaust, not sure if cat or turbo back since it came with it when I got it about a month ago, and it has zero drone. Maybe because its a 3" because I hear the 3.5" ones have a little drone to them, but when you punch it you'll def be able to hear yourself making some noise although not obnoxious.

I have the Injen SES, old version with stainless steel tip, not the burnt tip version. Was very streetable when new but has gotten louder with age. Still love the sound, but on the highway around 70-75 mph, there is a harmonic rumble that starts. I have heard good things about the Tanabe Touring Medalion or even the HKS Hi-Power, just make sure to get the all stainless version.

Exhaust for most performance, low sound.

Ok, I come from the world of v8's and lets face it. the 4 cylinder will sound nothing like it lol. unless there is some magical one I don't know about. but I want to know whats the best exhaust performance wise, but won't like crap/ have that ricey loud sound. or maybe somebody could point me to an exhaust that completely sounds different then the typical 4 cylinder, i'll have an open mind. thanks guys!

I really like my AMS w/ resonated pipe. I've heard other Evos and this one is still my favorite, its deep and not like a fart can when wot and it is fairly quiet at idle

I've always liked the Magnaflow sounds when I had mine on my car.

Check out the tanabe medalion touring exhaust. I've run it on both of the evo's I've owned and I love it. Low throaty idle and when you get on it, it definitely is worth every penny imo.

Dual Magnaflow Buschur exhaust. All the flow without all the noise. Dual meaning that one muffler is where the cat/test pipe would be, and the other is out back.

Xforce Varex muffler is the way to go . That's what I have on my IX MR . Full 3'' TBE straigh pipe with varex muffler . Completely insane when open at WOT , quiet when close , no drone at all .

But this wonderfull muffler has a price . You have to pay to play .
