what exhaust for daily driving (I HATE DRONE !) [MERGE]
I like exhausts that have an oval shape/stock appearing muffler. The round ricer canister is not my thing at all any more, titanium or not. It seems that the Greddy Evo 2, and the Tanabe medallion are the only exhausts left like this.
PS the RRE Stealth is an eye soar to look at. I know its quiet and stock looking, but jesus.

^^ greddy just re-released the sp elite. I don't know what applications they have yet but it is pretty much the same as the tanabe touring. I have the touring with a full exhaust and works HFC and I absolutely love this exhaust. It will drone at about 80mph on the highway but with the windows rolled up I can barely hear it. I have no problem putting my kids in the car with the current sound level and from a dig it still sounds mean.
I had an ETS on my car originally and it was unbearable IMO. I switched to the Tanabe Touring Medallion and I love it. I had a stock exhaust on my car when I bought it and the Tanabe is not that much louder. Fits great w/ stock or JDM bumper too and less attention from coppers.
Sorry total newb question. I want my exhaust to be slightly louder (deeper sound).
Would you say i should start with a new HFC and see where that gets me? ( replacing the stock one)
Or a new muffler, or maybe just a straight pipe replacing the cat?

RSR Exmag... I had it for 2 years on my 9.. It was the quietest exhaust EVER... NO drone at all.. i had people actually telling me my car was Too quiet.. looks close to stock since it comes with a black painted oval muffler and a rounded tip. Very good exhaust.
Second choice would be the HKS hi power (quiet edition) This is the quietest canister style I have heard and I used it for a good 6 months. Barely any drone at all.
