I have Tanabe Medallion Touring, Tanabe DP, Perrin HFC. Fairly happy with the noise level, but a 4hr, 80mph road trip has me wishing there was just a touch less drone. Wondering if maybe putting in a 4" x 14" Magnaflow muffler next to, or in place of the catback resonator, depending if there's room, would help out?

I run the AMS tbe with resonated test pipe and no drone with the windows up or down. With just a straight non resonated test pipe the car was stupid loud and obnoxious.

Well I just ordered my buschur catback with the magnaflow muffler. We'll see how it sounds with my resonated test pipe and 3" DP. I'll update this thread once I install it

Forgot to mention something about the RRE stealth.....
The muffler looks stock as well actually I think it has a smaller tip (3'' tip vs 4'' oem tip)

I am running a JIC majic and its sounds like what you are looking for. I added 2 megan resonators and its just right for DD.
I am in Tampa as well if you want to hear it.

Like I stated earlier I loved that muffler and the sound but with a JDM rear it's way to big but with the stocker it's nice and sticks out just far enough so you don't ***** up your bumpers paint. It was good to me, just keep it clean, mine rusted after 5 years, my advice is have the muffler and tip coated in high-temp black. I would of done it again this way but went Buschur SD muffler instead and it's brutal loud but with a HFC it isn't to loud for me. I love it!

Coat it and be done, then it will also be low-key
