What cams are you guys running with bbk full currently have hks 272 this is with Evo 8

That's what most guys running a BBK Full use. It's also what Chad@CBRD recommends.

Some guys use GSC S1's but I'm not sure what kind of gains you'd see with those over your current cams. You may pick up 5-10whp mid range. I have no solid evidence of that. Just an educated guess.

Are you currently running an upgraded valve spring?

 

I'd definitely recommend S2s as well. A Kelford 272 would be an appropriate substitute.

Where did you get the notion that what you have, the hks 272's, are not the rt cam. Curious, as this kind of thread crops up all the time-- wondering why you were considering switching out a great cam for a "better " cam. No mention of addrressing a problem in your question.

 

I bought car with the hks cams installed I upgraded to the BBK full, just saw a lot of guys posting the hks are outdated and not too great of gains

The HKS is far from a great cam compared to what is available these days with GSC, Kelford, FP, and a few others leading the pack. People have picked up over 30whp by swapping out their HKS cams for the GSC equivalent.
