Weird sound when going full throttle
This usually happens when I am in 3rd or 4th gear. If I am going full throttle it's almost like once my RPMs hit a certain point my rpms stop going up (it makes a sound similar to the limiter) and my acceleration stops. If I keep on the gas, eventually I start getting acceleration again. I feel like it shouldn't be happening because it happens before the point of shifting. I'm wondering what kind of issue this could be. Boost controller maybe? Any suggestions would help.
Maybe I can reexplain it. It's like I'm on the gas getting acceleration, and then even though I'm on the gas I stop accelerating and rpms stop going up, and then it catches up and I accelerate again. It doesn't feel or sound like a slipping clutch or a misfire.
Even though you keep saying the rpms stop going up, are you watching the tach when this happens? The reason I ask is because a slipping clutch will act exactly like this, except when you stop accelerating the rpms go up when the clutch sllps. Then the clutch will grab again.

Could it maybe be something with your throttle body?
It could be a slipping clutch, the rpm will climb with no acceleration and then the clutch will grab and the rpm will stop climbing and the car will accelerate. I doubt that though.
It could be fuel cut, there will be a notably violent jerk like hitting a wall before you continue to accelerate.
It could also be your timing being pulled or misfiring. I haven't experienced either of those so I can't speculate any further. Doing a log will help diagnose further.

The first thing that came into my mind was slipping clutch, however it could also be something like a bad tune, misfire or fuel cut. I would think that you could hear/feel a misfire, and as mentioned in a previous post, fuel cut feels very aggressive and jerky, definately noticeable.
