When clutch pressed and neutral..

When im in 3rd or 2nd gear and im about to hit a stop light I press the clutch and go into neutral but the exhaust note is still going. This happens occasionally.

Also happened once. I fully shifted into gear and my rpms stayed the same then a second after i was already in gear it sounded like I down shifted and it went back. Basically seemed like a full second delay in the rpm/sound in shifting. There was no out of ordinary sound just delay.

Any help is appreciated.

That's incorrect. It's actually programmed into the ecu for emissions control. Google rev hang.

I had this issue when I went from 1st to 2nd. It would basically rev hang.

Took me a while to figure it out but it happened to be one of the clutch switches. Not the one at the bottom of the pedal but at the very top. Previous owner did a **** job putting a new CMC in and destroyed the switch. Easiest way I figured out it was the switch was by testing the cruise control (It didn't work). Brought it to the dealer to replace under my 3rd part warranty. They confirmed the switch was broke and replaced it. FYI it does NOT throw a CEL but when you bring it to the dealer they can see the code.

Shifting was more enjoyable from 1st to 2nd and I never had any more rev hang.

That's funny. Mines will hang when the car is cold in 1st to 2nd. I Don't know if it's the tune or could be this switch. Again I mainly only notice when the car is cold
