Recently I dont know if I never picked up on it or what but there is a noise coming from my engine could be normal but I'm not an evo expert yet. I recently did a single spring mod to rid the turbo of surge dunno if its leaking now tho my boost gauge says 23psi but I dont know. I also just changed to plugs from stock evo 8's to 1 step colder coppers. Also the intake I assume makes a whistle at idle when IAC goes on and off I guess?

you should use NGK BPR7ES plugs, sounds normal. if anything its just a clogged lifter from what i can hear in the video

I took out BPR7es and put in bpr8es

Why not revert back to without the spring mod to see if problems persits? Plugs are gapped, where?

Noises are hard to discriminate against in videos. Sounds like it has some lifter noise and some slight timing belt whine? was the t-belt ever changed ?

No it only has 40k on it its stock as far as I know.

Yea, I only asked because it's cammed. They might of changed the belt at the same time. And also might of skipped pulling out the lifters and bleeding them.
