Won't this also mean you have to pay tax/registration (the dealer would also have to pay the tax on your old car). There goes your cash back.
If someone wanted an Tarmac 03 that bad it would only take a few calls from the dealership. (Thats how I got my Tarmac, they traded for one in wyoming)
There has to be something going on here. Why would they want your evo so bad?

-So you end up with an 04 RS Jungle Packege (which isn't available yet)Maybe a few hundred in cash back after you register your new car.
Its pretty much the same car minus your choice in colors

Add a $100 dolor MBC to your current evo if you are just looking for an advantage over the FL EVO

Becareful you said that the dealership had gone through management changes I think they may have done somthing in your original contract that they want to cover up.

Good Luck

I'm correcting myself... he says he's on a list for 04 tarmac.
AFAIK - RS doesn't come in black, just red and white.
Heh

This all does still sound strange to me. Remember that dealership that had the Tarmac Black Evo crash through the glass and hit that pole? Remember how people said that it would probably be fixed and sold to someone as a clean car with no history? Does anyone know where that dealership was? I just have a strange feeling about this whole thing. ESPECIALLY if they are telling you that you can get a Tarmac Black Evo RS......

It sounds more like they don't really know what they have to offer, but they are still trying to persuede you to do something that would put their car back in the hands of the dealership.

Yeah, the RS is cool...I'd like to have one, too...

Where most people disagree with me and say that the Evo isn't a daily driver.....well, I don't think the RS is a daily driver. Of course, If your '03 Evo is in the garrage with less than 50 miles on it right now.....I'd say this car won't be your daily driver anyway.

Good luck and be careful.

Good luck guy.
Unless you're into some serious racing and stuff you should just keep your current car. Otherwise you'll just lose money. Dealers never work to your advantage unless they are your parents or something.

Hey man I hope they offer you a big tube of KY with this deal so it doesn't hurt so bad when they bend you over Something is way fishy about this deal. Check your Vin number bud, do some research on your vin. Make sure there is not something special about it. I doubt that is the case but it doesn't hurt to check. Dealers always come across as your friends, word of advice they are screwing you somewhere I would bet my evo on it, and that is saying alot. Just be careful man you have a great car, don't be so quick to jump at this really do your research

The Urban Jungle packege is only avilable on the RS model (red & white only),
it adds back
A/C,power windows/locks/mirrors,keyless entry.

still no stereo....no wing...no color-matched mirrors/door handles..ABS..HID...

If they are giving you a standard 04 evo the only extras you could get are the Leather Recaros and Infinity Sound System which are still only option you have to pay for.

The one Question that I have for you is did you just simply ask them straight out why they want to offer you this deal?

Keep us posted
