Am i missing anything?
Am i missing anything?
So I am almost ready to bring in my car to get tuned on e85.
I almost everything ready to throw on.
Im planning on putting it all on and have AAA tow it to the tuner shop.
its a 2003 evo 8
Its almost stock, it has a built transmission, Evo9 DV, Stage 3 CM FX300, Greddy TI Catback.
The parts I have are:
Aeromotive 340
Kelford 272
Fic 1250
Perrin FMIC
Arp Headstuds
Megan dp
Test pipe
JDL Open Dump
LICP
Ill be sticking with the stock 8 turbo for a bit, I am also sticking with the stock UICP and intake. Since I am in CA I want the engine bay to look pretty stock nd have heard the UICP and intake are good up to 400hp or so
The tuner will also be installing a MBC.
Am I missing anything as far as the basics are concerned?
Is a 350whp/350wtq on a mustang dyno to high of a goal?
Also should I drain my tank prior to getting there and fill it with e85?
Thanks Anthony

As far as what numbers you will hit on the dyno will depend on how conservative the dyno is setup. In the end its just numbers and how fast the car feels and what kind of trap speed it can hit in the 1/4 mile will tell the real story.
If you plan on having the car towed to your tuner then yes I would drain the tank and fill it with E85.
I'm not sure who you are using to tune your car, but you may want to check into some of the tuners on here that provide email tuning services. You will need a laptop, tactrix cable and a wideband 02 gauge. I personally wouldn't live without any of these owning an Evo anyway.

Did 240/240 on a mustang dyno for my baseline.
I will be going with Sean at FFTEC he's a great guy and knows his stuff.
Looks like I need an intake and beehive springs.
He will give me a base tune and then 5 tanks of e85

240/240 kinda low but I guess CA gas sucks you should make 350/350 if not more on e-85 @ 25psi
I made 315/299 @ 24 psi with hks 264's and pump so 350/350 with kelfords and e-85 should not be a problem
