After 2.5 years, thinking of selling up...
135k on my '05 SSL. Aside from regular maintenance, almost nothing has gone wrong in the 70k I've owned it for. Alternator went out at 80k (not too surprised with my lightweight bat + 500w amp/system) and the drivers door lock actuator around 100k.
Drive the snot out of it everyday. 25k a year.
(Knock on wood) One of the most reliable cars I've owned.

To be honest with you im not sure of how you drive your car I know you pretty much beat the **** out of it to a certain degree but its expected for you not to keep your foot so lightly on the pedal. Now as for parts on this car its not cheap. Third do you do your own work on this vehicle.
I would do this especially to cut down on costs especially when dealing with b.s shops that claim they do good work but are not in anyway legitimate in their own work or are a bunch of con-artists. Your best bet would be to keep the car as stock as can be and use a daily beater to go back and forth to commute and use the evo for when you really wanna stunt.
Forget about all the other cars buy a cheap beater so that when the evo wants to take a break you can come back to it so that it will continue to hold your interest not your wallet as hostage. ATleast if your going to sell it dont sell it to some punk kid for him to trash the car.
