Any suggestions for the upcoming 1,000 mile break in period??

Thanks in advance

As far as 300whp I would say.Turbo back, intake, re-flash or piggy back and you will be close. But you also should either get a re-flash with Boost adjustability or a MBC or EBC then you should be definetly there.

Welcome to the club bro. As for 300 whp. That is easy: Vishnu Stage 1+ (probably closer to 320)
All that is is just exhaust, xede (piggyback ecu), cams, and cam gears. Looks stock, runs like a bat out of hell. Easily will do around 12 flat and 116mph. Total cost around $3000.

thanks for the welcome guys.

EVO_RPM - I'm in Albuquerque NM

m3mark- sold the cobra because it did not have enough room (baby on the way). Plus, I was tired of the god awful wheel hop, squeeks, rattles and two replaced half shafts!

So far I love this car (I guess I'm a converted soul). Only thing... I cant stand keeping it under 3000 rpm's (146 miles on the odo).

catch ya later...

I love your avatar, but Cannonball Run( the orig.) was much superior...don't you think?

Working on selling my stang so I can buy an evo because I need room in the back for my baby too! He's 6 months old, I got the car seat in my stang once, it wasn't a good fit. Plus an evo will be winter driveable (with the right tires).

Grats on the car, but more so on the baby. It will change your life (and you). Coming home to that smile is just amazing.

Change to non-synthetic oil immediately for the break in! (if you want a high HP EVO!)

Congrats!

I was an owner of an '01 Cobra as well. I agree with your assesment of their problems (Except my Cobra didn't have the beastly '03 power).

Welcome to the club.
