Quick question is this too tacky?

What are your views on this idea I have for my evo. I'm on the fence about it.

Long ago I once bought an evo. First day of owning this glorious machine of wonder I decided to drive to my friends residence to show off it's splendor. On this fateful night I took a wrong road and needed to switch directions. Due to the previous owner putting 5% tint on the windows and the backup camera being out of service at the time all was dark. Backing up I hit something decently hard. Of course my heart dropped. (first day with my evo come oooon D So I get to my friends where I can actually have a flashlight look at my rear bumper and there is a nasty outline made by cracked paint in the shape of possibly a small tree or road sign (honestly could not see a thing that night)

Anyways it looks terrible and finally Im tired of it and have decided I want a quick cheap fix. I found these two car decal stickers that are designed to look like bandaids. I figured Id buy a giant one and slap it on there to cover this sad memory. One says fail on it and the other is just a silhouette of a bandaid. Here is links.

to tacky for the evo? or no.

i personally think it is due to the fact that you constantly see people with this same type of sticker on there cars that says "Under Construction" and that type of car is usually some POS honda accord or civic might not want to put your self in that same category just my 2 cents though

That is exactly what I was afraid of that's why I asked first haha thanks for your reply.

I have never seen other cars with stickers like this on it is why I thought of it. No doubt your right though I just would rather buy a $5 sticker than pay like 100-200 for a minor paint job (it's definitley beyond touch up paint repair sadly)

You're going to cover your sad memory with a sticker, but you know what's under there and you know it looks like crap.

Personally I hate those sticker/decals. Looks really ricey/JDM. I always roll my eyes when I see a car with one of those stickers, especially the shocker one.

I think stickers are tacky... Stickers are like tattoos... why ruin the outside of something so beautiful? Your body is a temple... and so is your car! :]

Just one mans opinion...

I like it. It admits you know you screwed up. As long as you plan on fixing it right at some point.

Yea not really a fan. If you don't want attention drawn to the area then don't do it. If you do want the blemish noticed, everyone and their mother will see a bandaid sticker.

I like a car to have a clean look, this is only achieved without sticker IMO.

nothing wrong with stickers on a car, as long as their tastful looking. As for the ones you just showed us, i would definetly not do that. whenever i see a car with those there usually older civics, accords, and 240s. bottom line just get the bumper painted
