I personally went with GSC S2's, have heard nothing but good things about them. BC cams on the other hand I have heard nothing but negative things about. Its your money, but I'm sure you don't want to do cams twice.

I mean you will gain some power. more then most 150 dollar mods. but you will need a tune. but like most people say just save up and get better cams do it once

They are dated plain and simple. They'll make power on par with the HKS 272's that were available back then.

There are far better cams on the market today ie. GSC S2/Kelford 272's

I recommend the S2's

S2s or Kelfords, it's silly to do cams more than once. You will lose more money.

About $150-$200. Around here at least. It shouldn't effect your reliability. The car may be harder to drive with AC on. I highly doubt it. I have HKS 272, and my tuner leveled it out where I don't even feel them while driving.

People have bashed on the HKS cams and I like em! I haven't tried other cams so I really couldn't compare. I'd def pick them up and flip them if you're not going to install them.

lol might as well get greddy easy cams. have fun wasting money on cams that wont do anything good for you. the fact that man people have been able to run with them untuned, shows how close they are too stock -_-

Um no.....

Assuming an Evo VIII here (as that is what the OP has) he will net power comparable to the HKS 272 cams.

BC272 dont make any power, Its not even worth the time or effort to install them. Do it right the first time
