evo 8 infamously bad idle.

I recently bought an evo viii. I had it for about three months before I started getting idol issues after reading through threads I guessed it was either my iac or the fact that my bov is vta only. I already replaced my iac and i still have the problem. I would think my bov is the problem but it was working fine when i got the car. My intake is 3 inch with no maf. Any suggestions would be helpful.

more info please.

at opertating temp its just a rough rough idle?

or when you press the clutch in to come to a stop the revs dip low to almost stalling?

there is no MAF so that leads me to belive your tuned to speed density. if thats the case you need to get with a tuner and have them search through you tune.

let me get this straight if your car is at operating temp. and at a complete stop in N it idles fine. but when your driving and you clutch in to come to a stop it dips real low?

can you confirm your on speed density

My car does it too, i have adjusted the BISS screw and it makes no difference, i run a MAF and have had TSCOMP go through my tune numerous times, i have recirc the bov and currently run it VTA, i pretty much just put the car in neutral press brake with left foot and use my right foot to maintain the rpm's. If someone has a fix id love to know! Thanks

Check the lines for the EGR, and any other vacuum line.
