It's amazing how much that beam in front could take. I hit a deer with mine and was so glad I had it on. I saw another car without that beam hit a dog(a big dog I suppose) and it was a lot worse.
If it's not an all-out drag car removing it is not worth it.

right you are, its just not worth it, i ended up jumping a curb and taking out a light post and those things are heavy i wasnt even going all that fast (id say 45-55km/h) but it was raining and my rare tires are pretty bald, as soon as the airbags deployed i just knew it was toast (smoke in the cabin and coolant all over the street) luckily those poles are designed to fall in the opposite direction when hit so it didnt land on top of my car..never the less the car looks very bad.

Feel for you bud, that sucks! I would try fighting the insurance company though, you don't necessarily need legal council. I'm not too familiar with Canadian law, but that would be a fairly easy case to win here in the US. Just do some reading and find what you need..it might be time consuming but if you are like most of us on here (by the looks of it you are) its worth putting in every ounce of effort you have!

stay strong. now work HARDER and get back in the game. you will regret not trying. You can either die happy or die regretable. I'd rather die happy. Do-Not-Regret.

Thanks man im glad im okay too and walked out with scrapes and bruises i also have a throbbing headache, im mostly thankful there were no passengers/pedestrians anywhere near me at the time. My next car will def not be red again thats forsure a damn curse is right! I certainly would like to get an evo again though, if so, it will most likely an x since its a PITA to get your hands on an 8/9 here in canada. I just wish i had more time with this car as it was a thrill to drive and own. Out of curiosity what was your old red car?

I can't imagine how I would feel if this were to happen to my car... Honestly, I can totally see myself getting another evo if mine wasn't exactly where I want it to be...

Best of luck man

I really dont know what to feel, its a huge loss since i put roughly 25k in parts in the car since i got it to bring it where it was, but most of the pain is emotional. However im ready to move on and the new plan is to search hard for another evo rs rolling shell, this time wicked white and drop all my parts survived from the crash into it. I know itl be awhile but i definitely want to get back in an evo again. Thanks for your support and if anyone spots an rs roller please let me know! thanks. Also im trying to get to the yard to post pics asap, i couldnt take any on scene as you would imagine i was quite out of it.
