I was wondering if pure 93 was better than 93 oct + 10% ethanol?

I use the 0 ethanol in my daily and it seems to run really good.

My friend also uses it in his semi-built jetta and he says he says it feels a lot better than the gas with 10% octane.

do our cars really run better or is it just in our heads?

Any input on this?

 

Ethanol will clean ur engine components. Idk if u would feel much difference though

 

The 10% ethanol works well as a knock-quench and the E10 generally contains better/more detergents since it's street fuel and not classified as off-road fuel.

 

I've used both and not noticed a difference, ethanol has very good detergent properties.

 

Your gas mileage will be less with any ethanol mix.
