I now this question has been asked befor and I'm sorry for anyone that gets mad at me for asking. Has anyone figured out how to rewire it so it works like an rs with acd. Ive been looking for an 05 rs engine harness but that's like finding a needle in a hay stack. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. Ps I have searched all over the internet for it.

 

you're in luck i have an 06 RS that i'm trying to install ABS. i have all the parts except for the engine harness with ABS. so we can do a swap for ABS harness for RS harness, or do a complete swap with master cylinder, and hard lines. and i'm not too far from maryland, let me know.

 

Hey man really wish I could but the problem is you have an 06 I need an 05 you have the mivec so the harnesses won't work. If it was an 05 I'd do the swap with you this weekend

 

Do you still need it?? Iv got an ix with abs an acd trying to go to no abs.

I would but I need an rs engine harness before I can..

 

i wanted to sell my RS harness before but i think i want to keep it now in case i want to swap back to non ABS.

 

just fix your abs and stop being lazy. If you must have no antilocks for some reason just pull the ABS relay and the acd will still work.

 

^ cars with out ABS have rear proportioning valve in the master cylinder. cars with ABS don't have that, which means your brakes are not proportional, it use ABS to control rear proportion. i've seen many evo that have ABS malfunction on track and have massive rear lock up.

 

Yeah is someone has an rs harness I'm willing to trade my harness, master, an all the lines, an the abs pump.
