The airbox is the Apexi cold air intake with a custom aluminum heatshield.

With the battery relocated to the trunk, we were able to run the intercooler piping in a direct route without many bends.

The custom downpipe and exhaust are 80mm straight back from the turbo with no cat. Sound is incredible, but not too loud.

Someone seriously needs to make an aluminum heatshield like that for the consumers. We would ****** it up in an instant.

Here are some more pics of the motor from the front....

And, looking through the carbon hood.....

Hope you all like it. The turbo back exhaust is beautiful, and will get some more shots of it later.

Thank you. It is an Apexi manifold. They just finished the motor on Thursday, so we'll post the tech info on the car after SEMA, as well as complete photos of the car. We'll also try to get detailed product info on all the Apexi prototype parts for the EVO VIII.

The quality of the Apexi parts on this car are first class as you can tell. Their knowledge of EVO's is so extensive it is crazy.
