Hello today when I was driving my car started to smoke very lightly with a strong buring smell that I could smell inside the cabin, so I pulled over and could see the smoke for a few seconds coming from the exhaust. So I turned my car off left it a few minutes turned it back on and continued driving after a few seconds the faint white smoke returned on and off and so did the smell. So I stopped popped the bonnet left the car running it idles perfectly no smoke or smell while stood running everything goes away but after driving for a few minutes it comes back can anyone please advise or help or had this issue

Sounds like the turbo want boom

 

possible seal bad or a pinch in the PCV system

 

Head gasket?

 

is this bad smell like burnt oil? or a sweetish smell like coolant? If it's oil it could be the Turbo. Check your PCV valve and the compressor side of your turbo for oil. or your oil return linbe could be clogged but not likely.

 

had this same thing happen to me 2 months ago it was my fp red..it died first thing i would do is take your intake inlet off and make sure your turbo is spinning freely when mine went bad the turbine lost a peice of metal and seized it..
