If it still doesn't work I'd start checking your wiring and your vacume lines might be wrong or even the ports on the solenoid could be wrong as well.

Because if you leave it in A, it should be there still when you shut off and then turn the car back on.

Shoot.... yeah i fixed it thanks. It was off. I thought by going through the settings it was adjusting it and by going to run mode it turned it on. I held down the button to switch from off to A and its working beautifully. Thanks for your patience and help everyone.
