Approaching 300k!!
Congrats on 300k milestone. I personally do not own a Evo but i'm looking to purchase and for you to reach such high mileage is giving me confidence in buying a Evo also for DD. Do you drive the car hard? or race occasionally?. Was there anything major you had to fix at all since owning the car?

Drive hard, umm, all depends on the traffic and opponent...seems more and more want to be in front of me when commuting,LOL ..... But yes, I usually will hit 30 psi in 3rd at least once a day.
Never been to the track, yet!

Fluid leaks... Coolant hoses at the throttle body. Other than that, no. No check engine lights or any leaks for that matter. Funny thing is that people don't realize is if you use your car everyday the seals and hoses don't dry out. It's when you let the car sit, then stuff goes bad........again, still OEM trans, transfer case, and rear diff....

Including all transfer case/transmission seals?! jeeez
There's posts on here every single day about "name that oil leak" etc. on low-average mile cars. I'm speechless.
Your car is an 03 correct?
Any HVAC repairs? (heater core, blend door repair)
5th gear grinds?
Anything?
(sorry, I'm shocked for multiple reasons regarding how well that car has held up.)
Keep driving! (I'm going to go for a drive now to keep my seals fresh
)

Yes, I do. Some say its overkill, but I would rather do it while I'm there.
Also there are cheaper alternatives(gates), but I have always used OEM. Most of my customers I work on I have installed the gates and have no problems.
No T case or trans seals ever replaced. Car is an 03. HVAC repair... Only thing ever changed was the blend door gears a while back as they were starting to stick a bit. Never a blend door or heater core......
5th gear is fine in my car.

That's insane, NEVER had an oil leak? Holy hell..

I would have disagreed before, but having recently had the first 60k service done and noticed the water pump starting to have little bits of dried up coolant caked on part of it, it's not a bad idea to just swap it out anyway.
I get jealous everytime I see you hit a new milestone. I wish I'd never sold my EVO IX MR when I was at 180,000 miles. The new owner is over 200,000 miles now, with 500whp, and still on stock trans, original motor, and diffs. I never had a single issue, or leak on my old one, and it's still going strong for the new owner. So far I'm at 90k on the one I have now...so far no issues.

At least your back in one...

Seems everyone I know personally with MR's have no issues with the 6speeds, even at higher power levels and "enthusiastic" driving. I'm beginning to think the 'weak' 6spd and 'weak' stock clutch discussions dating back years ago aren't all too accurate.
I'm sure OP will substantiate this too, being he had the stock clutch in his 'grandpa' for ~200K miles. (Don't quote me on that, I'm trying to recall from another thread)
Comes down to maintenance.
