Quick help me identify this massive boost leak on the throttle body

Quick help me identify this massive boost leak on the throttle body

Once i get above 20 psi this thing leaks like crazy. I pulled it out and notice there is a black o ring on the inside. Where the hell do i described getting this little o ring or should i just rtv the damn thing. thanks

The common leak there is your shaft seals... search for mil.spec throttle body shaft seals...

I know that is wrong as I've replace the shaft seals already. The shaft seals are in the throttle plate area

anyone else? I'm about to get tuned and want this fixed.

If you're sure it's not your shaft seals replace the throttle body.

So i went to autozone and bought a o-ring kit and guess what the size oring i needed was in it.

some crazy responses in here.


Biss Screw O-ring is what it was after long searching only on the 03/04 VIII models

Those flapper deals leak worse than the shaft seals, I've replaced more than a few o-rings on there. I put a thin coat of DP or Blue on them to help them last longer.
I've never seen one like that which didn't have a screw holding it in though. Unless the screw is missing and the picture just looks weird.
