Missing my Evo!

Went out to the garage today and sat in my Evo and let it run for a bit. It has been so long since I've driven it and it sounded so good. Come on Spring.....only one and a half months to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Legacy GT is nice and all for my communter car but man I miss my Evo!

if your up in new hampshire etc and got piles of snow... you can always go out and drive it carefully in the local ... i mean you cant go nuts but traction isnt horrible as people claim to be.. just go super smooth and slow....

take itout on a sunny day when there isnt too much snow on the ground, just like around the block or something, i dont think that will hurt it.

she wants to be driven around in the snow a few times too, you can just tell she hates sitting in that garage l ol

Snow is definately out of the question. My tires are completely shot. Should be ordering new ones with rims soon. Actually I have taken it out a couple times I just don't like all of the salt and crud getting on it. Yah yah I'm pampering it. I figure it gets run hard all summer. This is its off season....

I'm still enjoy driving the car no matter snow, ice, sleet or rain. Salt, no problem. Just keep visiting your local car wash.

I just miss the sunroof. Can't wait til spring.

I don't understand why would anyone store an AWD car in the winter?

Thats half the fun!!!!!!!! Driving it in the snow!!! Man its fun!!! I love nice days like today in PA, 48 and mild, washing it and waxing it and racing a Supra and 03 Vette in the same day. Man, its not a 80,000 porche to keep it in 5 months of the year. Bring it out all year round!!!

It's mostly because people just spent nearly $30,000 on a car and they want to keep it in perfect condition. The salt and stuff from the roads getting onto the car, people not knowing how to handle their vehicle in the snow and hitting you, etc. Stuff like that.

I hear ya bro! Here in Iowa, they cover the roads with some sort of evil salt brine straight out of hell to melt the snow. I could live with the snow and ice, but driving my Evo in thru that and coating the fender wells, suspension, brakes, wheels & entire underside with that crap would just make me sick. Each time I come home and open the garage door, all I can think is...c'mon Spring. Although, it would be fun to mount some grippy snows on all fours and let 'er rip! Many of us are in the same boat I'm afraid.

yesterday it was about 40 degrees out so i decided to take my EVO for a ride. it's been about 4 weeks since i took it for a real ride (took it out Friday to the dealer for service, it was snowing/raining and i have the stock Advan, drove the whole 15 miles @ 40mph max). it feels great man. i wish i had money to get the all season so i can take advantage of the intercooler beeing cold like this (wedding coming up in Sept.).
