Evo Mr Vortex Generator help

I have a 06 mr and my vortex generator is loose on the one side. What is the best way to attach it back? should i just use 3m double tape or is there a different way since its a factory part. I know the aftermarket ones you take double sided tape and put it on but as the factory i am not too sure. Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the OEM uses the same method. I bought an OEM VG and it came with double sided tape.
