Shifter knob loose?!?! Please help!!

My shifter knob is loose while in gear position. It has about 2-3 inches of free play in each gear. Could some one please explain to me how I fix this...??? Please.

Remove the center console and check were you have free play, most likely linkage bushings. Is this on a Honda Accord ?

I just put all buschur bushings in and so far so good. I'd recommend them.

bushings will all give the same benefit. i like torque solutions because they're delerin (maybe buschur is also?) and not metal so they won't bind
