Any Evo owners still using the (original) stock clutch?

Interesting. Is there an Exedy replacement equivalent to the stock clutch?

Running a stock clutch too with 50k miles and minor mods (~ 300whp). A friend of mine (ktk) ran his stock clutch on his 450whp Evo for upto 80k miles and heavy track use. The trick is to rev match correctly on downshifts, not launch the car and generally let the fluids warm up before letting rip.

Pretty much exactly how I drive. I think abuse, improper driving, or heavy "use" is the real reason why the stocker has such a negative reputation. There's plenty of evidence in this thread proving it's not such a 'weak' piece. I now believe that is a common misconception.
