my friend wantw to trade me his cf hood for my oem hood cus he likes the oem look better
but I get to keep my vents
my question is will they fit on to the fb hood
his only has a mesh piece

I don't believe so. At least the mesh part on my seibon oem style cf hood does not look the same as the oem. The oem looks like it sits more flush whereas the seibon is recessed down a bit.
Im in a similar position, Id love to trade my cf hood for an oem one. I bought the car with it already on that's why its on there.

Oem hood is lighter, you keep the underhood heat mats, fits better. Im using hood pins to keep mine secured that's how crappy it is. When I first got the car it had the oem latch only, after just finishing a run at the autox my hood popped open. It sucked if it had been on a road course or highway.
Some cf hood owners may chime in and say theres latches fine, well that's fine and all, but I still envy you folks with the oem hoods
