hey guys. getting a new tune on my fp black setup. car will be making over 500whp on c16. do you guys think i need a catch can? if so what do some of you guys run and what catch cans you like the best/suggest for me as i daily drive the car. also car has acd, ac, factory sway bar so let me know what fittment issues any of you's have run into. thanks for all the help looking foward to the responces...

 

was looking at the stm setup and the buschur one also.

 

I think you will need one, Making that Kind of power. They are both a good, may also want to look in to Fathouse Fab Catch Can.

 

yea the acd reservior sits where the fathouse can would go. no good

 

I just bought the STM firewall mounted 4 port catch can. It seemed like a good piece and comes with the balance shaft inspection hole fitting and also the vented dipstick tube. I think that will be plenty of ventilation. I think it is definitely necessary with those power levels. I will be at those same power levels with my FP BB green.

Anyone know if that balance shaft inspection hole is tapped the same as the fitting or will I have to get a tap for that?

I run the normal STM one chamber catch can, it does the job just fine. As long as your good about checking the catch can and emptying it when its full really whichever one you like will do its job.
