Pick this bad boy up as quickly as you can!! This is the ultimate upgrade and I can say that because I have one installed on my car, and you could really help a fellow member out:

I'm sure the mod-happy crowd won't be happy with my saying this but as my friend once said to me, "The only nut that needs adjusting to make your car go fast is the one behind the wheel". Seriously, unless you're a race car driver, the car in stock form is already faster than you probably could handle. Until you can drive at 9/10 stock, why waste money on mods? Instead of 6/10, you'll now be driving at 5/10?

i do agree with that. a driing school can go a long way and in fact improve you times, technic and safety in a way that no power mod can. check out Skip Barber school, they have great 1-2 days plans and they will teach you everything you need to know about controlling the car.

Very true. I think most of it depends on how much more $$ you are planning on investing down the line.

Defintely start with:
Boost guage (maybe others)
ECU Reflash (pick you poison on this one)
Exhaust (again, (pick you poison on this one)

Yep, can't go wrong with some driving lessons. They'll save you when you really need them .

As for car mods, a 3" turboback, boost controller, and an air/fuel controller will give you a real nice bang for the buck and will set you in the mid 12's easily.

I would ahve to say

Greddy Emanage
Greddy E01
turbo back exhaust
cams if you have enough left over

That should be good for at least 75 80 more hp over stock with a good tune.

An intake most definitely is NOT a waste at all....you just need to make sure your ecu is tuned to recognize it, and then it becomes quite worthwhile

Turboback exhaust
Boost controller
Reflash
(not that it hasn't been said about 8 times)

Regarding exhausts, all are about as good as one another. No brand stands out as being significantly better than another, to be perfectly honest. If you do a search, you can get a lot of info and experience about exhausts and also boost controllers.

For boost controllers, I would recommend HKS EVC, since it's available in psi, useful for Americans. Plus it is easy to futz with.
