I bought a new EVO VIII a few months back. I am now ready to start with some mods but want to make the best investment for the money. Any advice on which performance mods will give me the best bang for the buck working with about $2k?

Could try buschur ,vinshu ,works there are so many to list . They all make great products. Best thing you can do is check out the vendor section on this forum. There are alot of them ,some have better prices than otheres. It rely hard to pinpoint and not be biased . I have Buschur stuff in mine along with some items from Greddy and HKS.

Stickers. Lots and lots of performance stickers...that is your best bet. Oh yeah, and an enourmous wing with blue lights.

 

Buschur Stage 3 or 4 with a BuschurFlash. Amazing... Yes I am biased.

 

yep, i like Buschur stage kit, but i prefer SAFCII than the brain flash stuff, unless you're gonna stick with the brain flash forever.

S-afcII and ebc is much easier to sell it than those flash ecu when you need to.
that's only my suggestion. and donot forget about the clutch and brake.
