I would stay away from cross drilled rotors on a street car. They crack very easily and must be replaced more often than a normal rotor. I had cross drilled Brembo's on my Supra and i cracked all 4 of them.

I got the Panther XP 1108 pads from Carbotech.

http://carbotecheng.com/main.htm

They are full racing pads but they make some street/race pads as well. I called them and they were very knowledgable and helpful. I have not put them on my car yet, but plan to in a week or two.

As for upgrading the brakes -- I kept the same rotors for now. Got the air cooling brake guides from Mitsubishi, the carbotech brake pads I mentioned above, stainless steel braided brake lines from goodridge, and Motul RBF 600 brake fluid.

Can you tell a difference in stopping power?? i always figured that if the brakes are strong enough to make the wheel stop spinning (to the point where ABS starts doing its thing) that the brakes were good enough... i'm probably wrong... can you explain?

Also, my brakes squeek when braking at low MPH. anyone else? what can i do to make this stop?

Thanks
Ben

About the brakes squeeking. There is pretty much nothing you can do, its just the nature of performance brakes.
